Glowshine Filly School Play (Part 2)

// Note from Bloggies: Hi! So sorry for not being active! ^n^ But here we are! <3 Here is part 2 of the Filly School Play! <3 We are working on parts 3, 4, and 5. :) ~Akori //

Narrator 1: There was a little town by the bright beaches of Callista. This town was unnamed. Why? The princesses who ruled it weren’t too sure, either. But they couldn’t come up with the perfect name for the town. So, the unicorns who lived in this town were called the “unnamed.”

Narrator 2: The three princesses who ruled it were Moon Dash, Sun Twirl, and Star Shiner. Moon Dash was the oldest, wisest, and took her studies very seriously. She had a teal-blue mane, sparkling emerald-green eyes, and a dark, sea-blue coat. Her tail matched her mane, but it had glowing white streaks that flowed through the teal hue. But Moon Dash’s bright smile contrasted the dark, and she was a friendly unicorn who would help just about any-pony.

Moon Dash (trots onstage proudly): I am Moon Dash, eldest ruling sister of this... small beach town.

Narrator 3: Sun Twirl was the middle unicorn. She was bubbly, outgoing, and liked to play with the village ponies. Everypony knew that she would be found either in the town playground, by the bright beaches, or visiting the filly school. Sun Twirl had a curly, pink mane that was often piled in a wavy bun that swirled around her horn. Her eyes were the color of ripe purple grapes. She had a silver coat that seemed to have a little golden tint in the summer. Even though she was an extremely optimistic unicorn, Sun Twirl was often late to things, and she was pretty clumsy.

Sun Twirl (tripping slightly, rushing onstage): Oops, sorry I’m late to the town calling! (whispers to Moon Dash) Um… What was I supposed to say again?... Oh yeah! (says out loud) I am Sun Twirl, second of the sisters who rule this great land.

Narrator 1: Star Shiner was… different. She was the youngest unicorn sister, and also the most childish. She owned a shy attitude, so she usually kept to herself whenever going out in public. Whenever somepony was in trouble, she’d just flick her magic to help them without even giving them a second glance. Star Shiner’s coat was a pearly blue, and her mane and tail were sparkling with flashes of purple. The village ponies always wondered deeply about her. Such a beautiful, powerful unicorn, yet so quiet and mysterious.

Star Shiner (slowly slinks onstage): Um, hi… I am Star Shiner… youngest ruler of this… place.

(All ponies leave the stage.)

Narrator 2: Our story will start back when these unicorns were just young fillies. Fillies in the sixth and third grade. As little fillies, these three rulers went to school in Sparkleflame, a more popular town in Callista. This is currently the month of February. In Sparkleflame, the winters are somewhat warm and the summers are boiling hot!

(Extras sit in the background chairs.)
(Moon Dash and Sun Twirl sit in front chairs.)

Potion Teacher: As you all know, in Callista, to make an invisibility potion, each town must choose something special to put in their mixture. For Sparkleflame, we collect petals from the fire flowers. They only grow in this town, but since they grow in every field and valley, we like to use them for our potions. We have nearly an endless stack of fire flowers, so young, curious fillies may make as many potions as they’d like.

Sun Twirl (waves hoof excitedly in the air, nearly hitting her table partner in the muzzle): Can we please start puh-leeze?!

Potion Teacher (nod): Okay. Pair up with a partner, fillies, and then you may start the potion-making. Be careful, if you put in the ingredients without letting the petals melt into the water first, you may end up with an invisibility potion that lasts less time than it usually would.

Moon Dash (strolls over to Sun Twirl): Hey, sis, wanna work together?

Sun Twirl (jumping with joy and a lot of bubbliness): Sure! I’ll get the potiony bottley!

Moon Dash (shakes head): No! I mean, uh, I’ll do it. Sun Twirl, not trying to offend you or anything, but you KNOW that you’ll drop it or bump into another filly!

Sun Twirl (remembering but still bubbly): Oops. Right. Ok then.

Narrator 3: An hour passed. It was now their free time, where all the fillies ran outside to play, but Moon Dash and Sun Twirl were so interested that they asked to stay in for free time. The potion teacher was delighted that they enjoyed making potions, so of course she agreed.

Potion Teacher (starting to trot off slowly): Okay, fillies, you may fiddle with the potions. I’ll be back shortly. Make sure to read the instructions carefully!

(Potion Teacher exits stage.)

Sun Twirl (extremely happily): This is SO much fun!

Moon Dash (pouring purple liquid into empty bottle): I know! It’s so cool how the different chemicals would interact and form a new mixture! And then…

Sun Twirl (rolling eyes): Yeah yeah, I guess thats cool too (says more enthusiastically) but, I meant watching the pretty colors change!

Moon Dash (pausing for a second): Oh… okay, then.

Narrator 1: They made many invisibility potions, and somehow they even figured out how to create a speed potion! They packed six invisibility potions for Star Shiner, bagged five each for themselves, and tucked away three speed potions, too.

(Extras continuously trot onstage and offstage to represent school ponies walking around.)
(After one minute of trotting, all extras leave the stage.)

Narrator 2: School had finished, and the three sisters were heading to their little castle that was hidden in one of the many beautiful rainbow-waterfall valleys. Star Shiner (who was only in the 3rd grade) took the cloud bus home, while Sun Twirl and Moon Dash simply teleported themselves.

Narrator 3: Their powers were still faint, though, so the older sisters couldn’t teleport home in one go. They liked to teleport to a nearby cookie store or a little smoothie shop on the way. This time, they voted to browse through Townie Mall.

Moon Dash (whirling around in a small store): Ooh, this new “Diamond’s” shop… it’s amazing! They really have a lot of accessories! (picks out two golden lockets) Oh, these look pretty!

Sun Twirl (nods slowly): Oh yeah, we can wear them like matching necklaces! You know, since we’re almost twins?

Moon Dash (pauses to think for a few seconds): We’re not almost twins… You were born ten months after me! (laughs a bit) Though I do see your point, since we’re both in the same grade.

Sun Twirl (smiles): You know what I meant!

Moon Dash (rolls eyes and snickers a little): Yeah, yeah, I need to pay for these anyways.

Sun Twirl (steps aside to let her sister pass): Okay! Wait, what about Star Shiner?

Moon Dash (confidently walks past Sun Twirl, towards the cash register): Don’t worry, I got her something for her birthday. February is a month that is definitely marked on my calendar!

Sun Twirl (following Moon Dash excitedly): Ooh, ooh, did you get her one of those bags with a billion pockets in them?!

Moon Dash (nodding proudly): She’s been hinting for it ever since last month! Of course I got her that satchel! (dropping two lockets, one book, and one satchel next to the cash register) And in her favorite color, too! It’s an icy blue leather bag with tiny purple sequins.

(Moon Dash shows the audience a blue satchel that is hovering with her magic aura.)

Sun Twirl (using her magic to float a locket out of the shopping bag): I’m wearing this home!

(Moon Dash and Sun Twirl teleport backstage.)
