Shadows Lurking...

•This is a mysterious foreshadow of the next collab-story... What will happen next? And, more importantly, who's against these shy unicorns?! : ~AkoriKitty•

"Raina," Lemon-Lime said, breathing heavily from running down to her friend's house, "do... you... know... anything... about..."
"Sit down, Lemon-Lime," Raina squeaked, "you look, um, tired..."
Lemon-Lime accepted the invitation and sat down on the edge of Raina's cozy blue couch. Raina sat on a cushiony white chair across from Lemon-Lime. "Okay, thanks... I'm, um, more relaxed..."
"Alright. Do you know, um, a spell on how... how to, uh, c-catch moonlight?" Lemon-Lime asked nervously. "I mean, um, if you don't, then, um..."
Raina nodded quickly. "I, erm, I actually do... I learned it when I w-was reading a book... in, um, the library... I can show it, um, to you... if you want?" she stammered.
They traded information and opinions for a while, until Lemon-Lime could conclude that Raina DID have some bottles of moonlight. She told Raina about the magical orb『Read Lemon-Lime's 35th Apprentice Log if you don't understand this!』and how they should try to mix it together with the other ingredients. Raina, out of curiosity, agreed.
Lemon-Lime unpacked a small bag that had been levitating in mid-air this whole time, thanks to Lemon-Lime's magical green aura of... magic.
There were half of the ingredients in there. Raina, using her magic, dropped off the rest of the ingredients (luckily, she had fifteen glow-flowers!).
They snuck outside, into the grassy valley that they'd found the glow-flowers in. They took a while to make the magical orb (Raina happened to borrow an old spell book from the library), but then they finally figured it out and dropped it into the bubbling cauldron.
But what they didn't know was that some-pony had been spying.
Spying on them.
And, with a nearly-transparent zap of blue lightning, this unicorn disappeared into a thundering laughter. The zap of lightning was absorbed into the cauldron. Neither filly saw this happen.
And this zap of lightning wasn't for the better.
The spell was already changed.

Lemon-Lime :: Apprentice Log #35

Apprentice Log #35

Okay, so, Princess Dazzle-Dusk showed us a (difficult!) spell. Raina and I, we're used to the advanced, um, spells... But... this one was, uh, incredibly advanced. There was actually a whole, err, parchment on the ingredients.
Supposedly, you need, um, a cauldron bubbling with raspberry water, fifteen of Glowshine's special glow-flowers, three mint leaves, a feather from the wing of a baby dove, a bottle filled to the brim with river water, a magical orb made from sunlight and moonlight, and a copper wire to wrap around the cauldron (once all the ingredients had settled in).
We couldn't make it right then and there (Princess Dazzle-Dusk didn't have any bottles of moonlight to form the magical orb), but the princess DID allow us to keep our spell parchments. I don't think she meant for us to actually perform the, uh... spell. Now that I think about it, um, she never actually told us what the spell does...
Hmm. Well, I'll just, eh, ask Raina. I probably started, erm, daydreaming or something when the princess told us what the spell does. I dunno.
I just remembered... I have a few sunlight bottles from practicing an older sunlight-catching spell, and I also have some raspberry water (I made it, accidentally, by mixing mashed raspberries with some water from a nearby lake) lying around somewhere... um... oh! I also have a feather from the baby dove that was jumping around my front lawn. When I returned the, um, dove to its nest, a feather tipped off. I saved it in a bottle somewhere...
I think Raina has a few, um, bottles of river water, a little batch of mint leaves, and a roll of copper wire (from an experiment that we performed in filly school, just a few days ago). She might also have a few glow-flowers. I think she got them when we went to a grassy valley and helped a hurt raven.
So, if we were to try and perform this spell... we would only need a few more glow-flowers, a medium-sized cauldron, and... a bottle of moonlight. (Um, we don't even know the spell for creating a magical sunlight-moonlight orb!)
This was, uh... it was a pretty long entry. I guess we can't make the spell... probably...
So... okay, bye-bye for this entry? I think?

A (Somewhat Regular) Day at the Park

•Hi guys! Okay, two things. Firstly, you guys can call me Kitty if you want, since Kat and I are super-close besties! (You know, Kitty Kat?) Also, this kind of story where the font color is just regular? Well, these are side stories! They aren't main stories, but in side stories, I get to mildly control Kat's characters. When she makes side stories, Kat will be allowed to slightly control my characters, too! Okay. Just wanted to throw that out there. Have a nice day! And, by the way, this story has an undeclared ending. I'll probably continue it or something! : ~AkoriKitty•

It was a breezy, cheerful morning, towards the middle of autumn. Berry Shortcake popped into her friend's bedroom. "Hi, Lemon-Lime!" she exclaimed. Lemon-Lime, previously absorbed in her art, bounced a little on her fluffy bed. Noticing that it was actually just her best unicorn friend, she relaxed. "Hi, Shortcake," she said in a light voice. (It could really only be described as the sound of rain gracefully sliding off a blooming violet.)
"You wanna go to the apple-picking site today?" Shortcake suggested. "There's supposed to be a park with waterfalls, gardens, and..."
Immediately, Lemon-Lime sprang up. "W-Waterfalls? And... um, gardens?" she repeated. "Ooh! That would be, um, relaxing a-and soothing..." Lemon-Lime flicked her magic to keep a pencil and a notebook in the air. They hovered, glowing with Lemon-Lime's beautiful green magic aura, and she nodded. Shortcake smiled. "We'll go by unicorn carriage, then," she decided.
Once they arrived at the beautiful park, Lemon-Lime sat down by the waterfall. Shortcake went off to look at the apple trees, so no-pony else was crowding around the waterfall section of the park. Lemon-Lime magically levitated her pencil and notebook. She drew half of her messy sketch of the waterfall before being interrupted by a bump.
"Oh!" Raina and Lemon-Lime both squealed. They looked at the ground and hopped away. Raina had jumped into a nearby bush while Lemon-Lime was sitting at the base of a thick tree. After a few seconds, the two ponies both peeked out. "Um, hi, Raina," Lemon-Lime stuttered, embarrassed. Raina shuffled her hoof. "Hi... Lemon-Lime... um," Raina mumbled, also flushing with embarrassment.
"Oops, I thought y-you... were, um, a s-stranger," Lemon-Lime squeaked. Raina agreed.
Dazzler and Shortcake quickly sped down to the waterfall area. "There you are!" Dazzler yelled out. "Come on, guys, let's go apple-picking," Shortcake urged. "They're rich and ripe this year!"
The four unicorns are rushed over to the apple-picking grounds. They picked apples and apples, and eventually Shortcake suggested that they make apple pies and apple cider. They all agreed, and they had a nice sleepover at Dazzler's house.
